Slow Cooker French Dip Sandwiches

Slow Cooker French Dip Sandwiches

I’ve had French Dip Sandwiches quite a few times in my life and they were all pretty good. But the best French Dip Sandwich I ever had was in the hospital after my son was born. I know – hospital food? Most people lump hospital food in the same awful category as school lunch. Hospital food is bland for a reason – its made for sick and weak people. Well after a long labor and very little sleep and food my hospital French Dip Sandwich was heaven – I had 2.

Nothing new about these Slow Cooker French Dip Sandwiches. It is a combination of a couple of recipes. I really enjoyed the Beef Consomme the Six Sisters use but I missed some of the flavors from my old recipe. So I just combined the two recipes. I think it turned out really good.

The best part of this recipe is its all cooked in the slow cooker. No heating up the kitchen for this great dinner.
