How many of you have an old calendar holder that you never put a calendar in anymore? As I was about to get rid of mine, my husband reminded me that his father made it an his mother painted on it, thus making it a keepsake. I thought what a great “Memo Board” this would make. I found the roll of cork that I had purchased at a yard sale and went to work. I cut the cork to size and used some spray adhesive I used for another project and glued two layers of 1/8″ cork to the wood. It is now a great “Memo Board” just inside the door of my laundry room going in and out of the garage.
