Just 3 ingredients in this recipe, frozen raspberries, bananas and pineapple sherbet make this fruity refreshing dessert. It is enjoyable in summer, festive at Christmas and
yes, even great for weddings.
When Margaret got married all she wanted served to her guest was cake and ice cream. Her father, John, being the man that he is said “plain ice cream?”. We had this great recipe and talked her into it and it instantly became a favorite of the new in-laws.
Ingredients
1/2 gallon pineapple sherbet
2 12 oz packages frozen raspberries
4 bananas, halved and sliced
Soften sherbet. Mix frozen raspberries and bananas into sherbet. Re-freeze. Serve alone or in ginger ale.
