Chocolate Chip cookies are a staple in my families diet. My husband and son are big cookie monsters. One batch of these never lasts long. I know every family probably has at least 2 recipes for Chocolate chip cookies but here is another one. I’ve been making this recipe since I was a little girl and I think it’s the cinnamon that makes them so yummy.

1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice

2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup rolled oats
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts (optional)
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice. In separate bowl sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Slowly add to butter mixture until well blended. Then at oats, walnuts and chocolate chips until just blended.
