Pecan Fudge Brownies

1 cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

In a large sauce pan melt butter.  Remove from heat.  Add cocoa and sugar.  Blend in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts.  Spread in a greased and floured 13″ X 9″ X 2″ baking dish.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.  Do not over bake.  Cool.  Frost with chocolate butter cream frosting or dust with powdered sugar.
