This is about the time of year that I start to think about what I have to decorate for the fall holidays with and what I might want to make new. Halloween is the first up on the fall schedule and is a lot of fun to decorate for. This is a favorite that I made a few years ago from the Fons and Porter Love of Quilting September/October 2005 issue I found in my mother’ never ending stash of quilt magazines. It is called Halloween Night and you can still purchase this issue at http://www.fonsandporter.com/issues/sep_oct_2005
The hanger, that you can’t see real well in the picture, along with many other wonderful wire holders is found at Ackfeld Manufacturing http://ackfeldwire.com/ .

I was searching for a printed version of a pattern that I could download. Apparently I had the magazine, and in the process of cleaning some out, I tore out the pages of this “Halloween Night” pattern, but I neglected to get the pages that have the witch, bird, and broom parts.
