Taco Cake

July 18, 2013 by Margaret 21 Comments

Did you see this fun Taco Cake in your Sunday (7/14/13) newspaper?
It was in the Parade Magazine. I always look through it for recipes or cute decorating ideas. At first I thought they had a cornbread taco shell. I wasn’t really interested then I notice it was a cake. I had to show my kids because they love tacos.
I decided it would be a fun dessert for family night so the kids and I visited the bulk bins to pick out the candy we would need. Our Taco Cake turn out pretty good.
If you don’t get the Sunday paper you can visit the Parade Magazine site for instructions.
It is a lot of fun to make.

My daughter and I are definitely going to make this for taco night! We actually never eat tacos, but recently she’s been asking me to make them. She will absolutely love, love making this with me. Thanks for the great idea!

My kids love tacos, which surprises me a little. Taco night is almost a weekly deal at our house. The cake might have to be part of the deal now- oh no, what have I done!:) Thanks for stopping by.
