My kids like to have a special cake on their birthdays and because I like to pretend I know how to decorate a cake I give it my best shot. My sister gave my the basic decorating tools one year for Christmas, so one day I decided to try them out. I kept it very simple knowing it would take time to learn, but I’m impatient and wanted a masterpiece. My simple designs were not what the kids or I were hoping for. One day on Pinterest I found the answer to my problem. A decorating style for the cake decorated-ly challenged.
What you need:
- color book picture of your design
- piece of glass
- wax paper
- frosting
- food coloring
- cake with a flat top
- basic decorating tools (decorating bags, #1 decorating tip very helpful but not necessary. Baggies with a tiny snipe of the corner will do)
