Ingredients
10 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon instant yeast
3/4 cup non-fat dry milk
1 1/2 tablespoons salt
3 3/4 cups hot water
5 tablespoons oil
5 tablespoons sugar or honey
Directions
Use electric mixer with dough hook. Mix in large bowl 4 cups flour, yeast, sugar, dry milk, and salt. Add hot water and oil. Let mix on medium-low speed until smooth about 3 minutes. Gradually add remaining flour until a soft dough forms. Let knead on low speed for 5 minutes. Remove dough hook. Let rise until doubled. Punch down and let rest for 10 minutes. Form into three loaves and place seam side down in greased loaf pans. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 – 30 minutes. Remove form pan and brush top with melted butter.

What lovely bread! Thanks for sharing.
I too have those days where the baked good becomes the next meal’s main course.
One time my sister-in-law made chocolate cupcakes with low sugar and lots of hidden veggies in it and she let her toddler eat them for dinner. Ha.
I haven’t tried powdered milk in my bread before, but will have to try. Thanks.
Warm bread for lunch, chocolate cake for dinner. I love it!
