This great cabinet was a garage sale find. The gentleman selling it had a custom cabinet business out of his home and was retiring. This was made from leftovers in his garage. I fell in love with it on site and thought it would be perfect to replace the build in folding table that was never free from stuff to fold laundry on. There was only one problem, it was about 2″ too wide. What a great excuse to re-do the room. My husband moved the dryer vent and electrical. We painted it with Behr paint, Paprika, and thank goodness Home Depot is practically in our back yard because out of the blue we decided to tile the floor. The Linoleum had peeled up in several places and looked really bad. Now I have this great mud room/Laundry room that I just love.
It is a great sense of accomplishment when you finish, it all works and looks good too.

That is an awesome cabinet! I need something like that in my laundry room as well. I’m in the middle of re-doing it…one little project has turned into another, and another 🙂
I know how you feel. That is the problem with my whole house. You get a couple of things new and looking great, the next thing you know you have moved into another room all together. We are still working on our kitchen make over.
Thanks for dropping by.
Looks great! I just bought a condo and can’t wait to EVENTUALLY get around to my laundry room!
Good luck on your condo. It seems like we always wait on the rooms we really need finished first. Thanks for stopping in.
