Cooking on the grill is not just a seasonal thing with us. We cook on the grill all year. John has even grilled in a light snow storm. We love the flavor that the grill gives our meat. We grill a lot of chicken and Honey Barbequed Chicken is another delicious marinade recipe.
“Honey BBQ Chicken”
Honey Barbequed Chicken
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup orange juice
1/4 cup honey
1 green onion, chopped
4 medium boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
In a large resealable plastic bag, combine first six ingredients; mix well. Place chicken in bag and seal tightly. Turn bag gently to distribute marinade. Refrigerate 15 minutes or up to 30 minutes for stronger flavor. Lightly oil grill rack. Preheat grill to medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade. Cook chicken on a hot grill 6-8 minutes per side, or until juices run clean. Serves 4.
Another great way to grill chicken. Enjoy!
