Cooking on the grill is not just a seasonal thing with us. We cook on the grill all year. John has even grilled in a light snow storm. We love the flavor that the grill gives our meat. We grill a lot of chicken and Honey Barbequed Chicken is another delicious marinade recipe.
1-2 lbs steak, sirloin or chuck
3/4 cup oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp dry mustard
1 tsp black pepper
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
Place steak(s) in a re-sealable plastic bag. In bowl mix the remaining ingredients and poor over steaks. Seal the bag and refrigerate 6-24 hours. Cook on hot grill.
Every bite juicy and full of flavor.
Either way, this is a fantastic marinade. It is a true family favorite that we make again and again at our house. The only thing that would make it better is if we had a working grill to grill it on. I prefer it grilled, but it works just as well cooking it in a skillet on the stove.
